MY STORY
not your average "glow up" story..
I didn’t come into this work from a place of ease—I came to it through illness. Through exhaustion. Through motherhood. Through heartbreak.Through a literal crack in my heart.
In 2024, I had open heart surgery to receive a new pulmonary valve. It was a physical healing—and a spiritual one. That experience, and the deep unraveling that followed, brought me face to face with all the ways I had silenced myself, contorted to fit into someone else’s idea of “strong,” and abandoned my softness to survive.
That was my reckoning.
It’s also where Lightroot Studio was born—from the space between grief and reawakening.
I began to rebuild—not just my body, but my identity, my boundaries, my voice. I remembered how to listen. How to trust what I knew. And I found that the more I softened, the more powerful I became.
Now, I help others do the same.
